PURE is music for purest of love, the purest of melancholia and the purest of contemplation.
The airy and alluring vocal is surrounded by a pink and velvety soft cloud of synthesizers, where the audience gets drawn into a world of exploding emotions, as life comes at you. We are placed in the middle of a univers of dreams, where there is room for gut feelings, and the embracing of everything we have inside.
PURE is the creation of the solo artist Anja Backmann, who previously have been helping others to find their true voice. Now she is ready to release her own, with everything it has to offer. With the piano as her vessel, she creates songs using the life, emotions and experiences of PURE as the fuel - and it is burning brightly throughout the music. We find ourselves in an almost therapeutic room where we, almost as a fly on the wall, are invited in to be a part of the fulfilment of a dream.
With the first single “The Fire We Made”, we are starting out at the top. The song beautifully portraits the journey into love, soaring between dreams, dependence, chaos and doubt. A tumultuous lovestory, in an enchanting popuniverse.
